East IP is pleased to announce that Attorney Hongbin Zhang has joined our Beijing office as a partner1. Mr. Zhang’s arrival further strengthens East IP’s capabilities in intellectual property (IP) litigation and dispute resolution.
Prior to joining East IP, Attorney Hongbin served as a partner at a well-known law firm in Beijing. He has extensive experience in intellectual property litigation, particularly patent and copyright litigation, IP-related antitrust cases and IP licensing transactions. His expertise in IP litigation has been widely recognized by the industry. In 2022, he was named “Top 15 Intellectual Property Lawyers in China” by Asian Legal Business (ALB). Furthermore, he has been continuously listed in the Chambers Greater China Legal Guide to Intellectual Property Litigation, included in the IAM Global Patent 1000 list, and recognized by Hurun as a Recommended IP Lawyer in Greater China in 2026.
Attorney Hongbin serves both international and leading domestic companies and has acted as lead litigation lawyer in numerous high-profile IP and IP-related antitrust cases. As a dual-qualified lawyer, holding both a lawyer’s licence and a patent attorney qualification, he has strong litigation skills and a precise understanding of technology-related cases. His rigorous and professional approach has earned the trust of clients and recognition from the IP legal community.
