Ms. Zhao Yan is an experienced patent attorney in the chemical field and a designated patent litigation attorney by the Supreme People’s Court. Her areas of technical expertise include materials science, polymer chemistry, pharmacology, and other emerging technologies.

Since joining Beijing East IP in 2005, Ms. Zhao has provided professional and high-quality services to well-known companies both domestically and internationally assisting them to acquire key intellectual property rights in China. After accumulating nearly 20 years of experience in the intellectual property field, Ms. Zhao has extensive practical experience in patent application preparation and prosecution, as well as in reexamination, and invalidation actions, with a particular proficiency in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications in the materials field.

Additionally, Ms. Zhao has vast experience in assisting prominent domestic enterprises to obtain intellectual property rights in Europe, the United States, India, and other countries.
