Ms. Piao joined Beijing East IP in 2013, with a professional background in semiconductors and electrical engineering. Ms. Piao is well-versed in Chinese, Japanese and Korea patent laws and patent practices, and focuses her patent practice across a wide range of fields, including chemical technology, biotechnology, semiconductor technology, among other emerging technologies

Currently, Ms. Piao is primarily involved in patent application preparation, in particular with regard to patent applications entering into China, Japan and Korea, dealing with office actions (OA), reexaminations, invalidation actions, administrative litigation, and other complex matters. She is also very experienced in handling patent stability analysis, FTO investigation, and EOU investigation.

Ms. Piao has provided professional services to a wide array of domestic and international clients, including corporations, universities and research institutes in various sectors such as batteries, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, printing technology and display technology.
