Dr. Li is the Vice President of East IP, responsible for quality control and procedural matters relating to the firm’s patent practice. He is also responsible for supervising and the firm’s overseas patent prosecution practice.

Dr. Li joined East IP in 2003 as a patent attorney in the biochemical division of the firm. He has been a division manager since 2007, and has served as Vice President since 2012.

Dr. Li is an attorney recommended by the All-China Patent Attorneys Association for patent litigation. His work covers various aspects of patent practice, including patent drafting and prosecution, reexamination, invalidation, and litigation.

Dr. Li has provided professional services to a large number of domestic and multinational enterprises in patent prosecution, patent portfolio management, and patent enforcement. Dr. Li has also represented leading companies such as DSM, 3M, and Shanghai HIUV in dozens of litigation cases, including helping HIUV win patent infringement lawsuits initiated by a competitor during its IPO process.
