Yijie Zhao has over ten years of experience in managing sizable IP portfolios and advising clients on trademark prosecution, enforcement, internet takedowns, trademark licensing and transactions, copyright & domain names. She also works closely with teams in China to lead investigations and enforcement projects.

Yijie specializes in providing comprehensive solutions for trademark recovery and brand protection, as well as action plans against pirates and copycats. Specifically, she has assisted multiple clients in unfair competition and trademark infringement lawsuits against trademark pirates and trademark/trade dress infringers, achieving favorable results.  

Yijie’s clients include reputable multinational companies specializing in various industries such as consumer goods, media and entertainment, internet, and industrial products.

Before joining East IP, Yijie worked at the Beijing office of a reputable international law firm focusing on IP practice.
