Experience

Yang Weihua a partner with Beijing East IP Law Firm, with extensive experience in a wide range of IP matters, including litigation, IP portfolio management and IP support for commercial transactions. Ms. Yang represents clients in a wide range of industries, including FMCG, IT, and entertainment.

Ms. Yang has represented clients in several cases that have been selected as model cases by the Supreme People’s Court of China as well as various local courts.

Before joining the firm, she was a partner for over 13 years with a leading Chinese law firm. Before 2008, she was a partner and trademark attorney with leading Chinese intellectual property agencies.

Ms. Yang is a graduate of the China University of Political Science and Law, and received her BA in 2000 and her MA in civil procedure in 2003.
