As an Intellectual Property Manager at East IP, Kris Hung brings focused expertise to the critical area of China IP.

Responsible for the proactive management and protection of clients’ intellectual property portfolio in China, navigating the unique challenges of the Chinese legal landscape. This includes working with all levels of clients’ business partners ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, identifying and mitigating potential IP-related risks, and contributing to the development of robust IP governance strategies and working closely with clients’ international and local teams to ensure consistent protection of the company’s IP assets worldwide.

Kris has solid experience of handling non-litigation matters in the field of IP rights, including trademark, online enforcement, domain disputes, commercial and dispute negotiations and takedown programs resonating with the bigger strategy in complex cases.

Kris represents multinational company clients across a wide range of industries, including IT, food and beverages, cosmetics, apparels, luxury goods, media and entertainment and others.
