Having been working as a patent agent for more than 10 years, Ms. Tian has a deep passion for the IP field. She focuses mainly on the fields of materials science, chemical engineering, and organic chemistry. During her career of being a patent agent, Miss Tian has handled thousands of office actions, including sustentative examination actions, rejection decisions, and reexamination notifications. She is praised by clients for her ability to obtain acceptances of applications by putting forward persuasive and reasonable arguments and practical solutions in view of each client’s particular interests.

Ms. Tian is also experienced in drafting patent applications. After effective and clear communication with the clients, she is able to efficiently draft the patent claims and specifications based on reasonable and evidenced representative embodiments and draft independent and dependent claims while maintaining solid fallback positions. In response to client inquiries, including claim amendments, response strategies, and then timing of filing divisional applications, Ms. Tian is able to provide practical and helpful opinions or suggestions in a timely manner, especially in view of local practice.
