After graduating in 2008, Ms. Jin joined Beijing East IP, with a professional background in physics. As a patent attorney, Ms. Jin primarily handles patent matters in the electrical engineering and mechanical fields, both domestically and internationally.

Currently, Ms. Jin is primarily involved in patent application preparation and prosecution, including pre-examination, prioritized examination, dealing with office actions (OA), appeals, invalidation actions, consultation, administrative litigation, as well as translations using Japanese, Chinese and Korean of patent applications. Ms. Jin also actively participates in patent stability analysis, infringement analysis, FTO investigation, EOU investigation, and industry technology investigation. She also handles projects in patent mining and landscape studies.

Ms. Jin has provided professional services to a wide array of domestic and international clients, including corporations, universities and research institutes in various sectors such as automobiles, batteries, communications, motors, software, energy, monitors, security inspection, among other emerging technologies.

Work Highlights

  • Handled over 1,300 applications, over 1,300 office actions or appeals, as well as over 20 invalidation, litigation and/or investigation cases.
