Mr. Liu is a senior patent attorney and handles litigation in addition to patent preparation and prosecution. He is currently focusing on representing Japanese clients in filing patent applications in China within the mechanical and electromechanical fields, as well as handling Chinese patent applications entering Japan, and managing patent invalidation and administrative litigation cases.

Since joining Beijing East IP Ltd. in 2003, Mr. Liu has handled a significant volume of patent applications, reexaminations, and other professional matters. Through his more than two decades of experience, he has accumulated extensive practical expertise and delivered high-quality intellectual property services to both domestic and international clients.

In addition to handling complex patent litigation and invalidation actions, Mr. Liu’s has a very active patent preparation and prosecution practice in which he is assisting clients with patent applications, and office action responses. He also assists clients with patent searches, patent analysis, and provides general patent consultation.
