Ms. Bu earned her Master’s Degree from the Beijing Language and Culture University and joined the firm in 2018, after practicing as an associate at another IP firm.

She represents clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 multinational corporations in the automobile, engineering, technology, food and other sectors.

Work Highlights

  • Won numerous oppositions and invalidations before the CNIPA. In one case, representing Continental, she successfully prevented squatters from securing registrations and removed bad faith marks from the registry. Ms. Bu also won rejection appeals before the CNIPA, obtaining trademark registrations for the clients in core classes.
  • Prevailed various opposition and invalidation actions before the CNIPA representing GEA, removing bad faith marks filed by squatters to safeguard the client’s goodwill.
