Tracy Liu obtained legal profession qualification in 2007 and has worked in several international and domestic law firms before joining East IP in 2024.

Tracy has more than 10 years of experience in relation to contentious and non-contentious IP matters. She has successfully advised and assisted many international corporations on intellectual property rights protection including trademark, copyright, domain name and patent.

Trademark prosecution: Tracy supervised trademark prosecution work for many international enterprises on registration, portfolio management and protection, focusing on commercial real estate, internet technology, education, publication, automotive, fashion and cosmetic, food and beverage.

Litigation: Tracy represented multinational clients succeed in administrative lawsuits of various trademark matters at Beijing Intellectual Property Court, Beijing High People’s Court and the Supreme People’s Court.

Enforcement: Tracy is experienced in organizing online take-down actions, unfair competition raid action and the related design patent invalidation action. A criminal procedure representing a global education group led by Tracy was selected into the Top Ten Cases of National Copyright Administration in 2020.

Licensing and cross-border portfolio management: Tracy also provided legal services for clients in licensing, oversea trademark layout strategy and IP disputes.
